Information We Collect
When you create an account with Vybog, we collect personal information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title. If you upload resumes through Vybog Parser, we process the document content to extract structured data as described in our service documentation.
We automatically collect usage data when you interact with our services, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interaction patterns. We also collect device information such as browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers to ensure service compatibility and security.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to deliver, maintain, and improve our services. This includes processing your requests, personalizing your experience, generating analytics dashboards, and providing customer support. We analyze usage patterns in aggregate to improve product features and identify areas where users encounter friction.
We may use your email address to send service-related communications, product updates, and security alerts. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time through your account settings or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
Data Storage & Security
All data is encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Our infrastructure runs on AWS with data centers in Mumbai (India), Singapore, and US-East (Virginia). Indian customer data is stored in Mumbai, Singapore customer data in Singapore, and US customer data in Virginia — ensuring data residency compliance.
We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing. Our infrastructure is monitored 24/7 for unauthorized access attempts. We are pursuing SOC 2 Type II certification and follow OWASP security guidelines in all application development.
Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of third-party services to operate Vybog: PostHog for product analytics (self-hosted, no data leaves our infrastructure), Stripe for payment processing, AWS for cloud infrastructure, and SendGrid for transactional email delivery. Each third-party provider is vetted for security and privacy compliance.
Your Rights
Regardless of your location, you have the right to access your personal data, request corrections, request deletion, and export your data in a portable format. For users covered by GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), or PDPA (Singapore), additional rights may apply, including the right to restrict processing and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@vybog.com. We respond to all data requests within 30 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and user preferences. These are necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled. We use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns — these can be managed through your browser settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you via email at least 30 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
